Youth Challenge of CT, Inc. Walk-A-Thon Against Substance Abuse
The 2013 Youth Challenge of CT Walk Against Substance Abuse was held Saturday, September 21. We were blessed with beautiful weather. Over one hundred supporters joined us for this approximate 8 km. walk which began at our Headquarters at 15-17 May St., Hartford, CT. We raised over $11,000 with the support of many individuals, businesses and organizations which said present. Many individuals and organizations also volunteered their time. Noteworthy was the Youth Group from Wintonbury Church in Bloomfield, CT who sent fifteen youth, including their Youth Leaders, to help make this event a success.
