Youth Challenge of CT Fundraising and Public Relations Department
The mission of Youth Challenge of CT Fundraising and Public Relations Department is to enhance the Ministry’s ability to be self sustaining by raising the public’s awareness about the work of Youth Challenge. It is responsible for mobilizing and training volunteers and diversifying fundraising initiatives. The Department, is overseen by Attorney Rubén E. Acosta, a Youth Challenge of CT Board Member who serves as its Treasurer and Secretary, and his wife Olga. They volunteer their time to oversee this very important department for Youth Challenge of CT. They are always seeking individual volunteers and entities willing to work side by side to enhance the work of Youth Challenge of CT. Two of its most important fundraisers, the annual Walk Against Substance Abuse held in September and the Youth Challenge Alumni Homecoming Benefit Banquet held in February are two events in which the Department is always looking for support.
